As I have been traveling down this path of “Blogdom” I have come across so many helpful tips, tricks, and advice from other bloggers. One very important fact that holds true for me is if you are blogging and trying to learn multiple platforms, social media ins, and outs, content guidelines, and everything else that comes with this responsibility, you must have a system of organization. This is where the Blog Filing System comes in!
Keeping track of all of your posts, pages, categories and how all of them intertwine is important, yes, but what if you plan on selling services? What if you plan on adding to your blog and growing a small business in the near future, or not so near future? Having a system of organization is still going to have a crucial impact on how you run your site/blog/store. Start now and your future endeavors will be a breeze.
Right now I am working on adding content to my baby blog, but I have already made the decision of what I want my blog to grow into in the near future. I have created a system, well… more of a filing system, of everything I need to record now and everything I will need to record in the future. This way I won’t have to worry about creating and adding file names to my system as I go along. When I move on to the next phase (the toddler stage) all of the information I will need to record is already set up! Some of the things I put on my filing system are just ideas that I want to try but I still added a spot in the system for these in case I make a spontaneous move and I have to record it.
I feel like this little charm has helped me so much already that I want to share it with you, too! It has given me comfort and more independence with my work knowing that all I have to do is pull my clipboard off the wall and flip to the page that has all of the specific information on it pertaining to my needs at the time. As I become more acquainted with “blog duties” I will update my filing system and if you like, I will give you the updates as well!

Blog Filing System Version 1.0
I created a filing system to keep track of all my blog duties. I thought it would be a great idea to share this with everyone! I am still a “newbie” blogger so please give me feedback and let me know what else you think would be helpful. This was created in regards to what I will be doing on my own blog personally.
